Description	Empire Theatre after a hail storm in July 22, 1922. The banner says "Featuring in High Class Vaudeville The DUMONTS Tonight." And the awning says "EMPIRE." To the right is "The Brooklyn." The store to the left advertises "Wine, Liquors, and Cigars"; later it was for many years the official Oregon state liquor store with the windows painted green so you couldn't see in.
