Shriners Parade. At bottom of photo: "Shrine Club Ceremonial Band Patrol--Baker, Ore."
This is one of the few photos in the collection that shows the Orpheum Theater, a movie house that burned in about 1945. It was rebuilt in the early 1950s and became the Baker Theater with a large balcony. With the advent of television, it closed after just a few years. |
