| Description |
Baker City Sanatorium. Built by James P. and Emma Faull, this elegant house stood back from the street at 1503 4th St. until October 6, 1908, when it burned to the ground, possibly caused by an arsonist, since two other fire alarms were turned in the same day. Their son, Dr. Carlton W. Faull, turned the house into a hospital a few years after the death of his father, but it continued as a residence for the doctor and his mother until the fire.
Today several residences occupy the lot on which the house stood. |
