Description Notre Dame Academy. Also known as the Sisters School, since it was operated by the Catholic Sisters of the Holy Name. Built in 1875. Date of this photo is not known. It was located on the northeast corner of 2nd and Church St., where the gymnasium stands today. Building at right edge of photo was the original Catholic Church standing on site of present St. Francis Cathedral.
