Description Clarks Creek Flume Dredge.

A sign at Clarksville says the town in 1862 had a population of 200 and that the Clarks Creek-Burnt River Dredge operated from 1924 to 1937.

This photo is from a set of 11, four of which feature the dredge. The other seven also deal with mining but the location is not know, perhaps they are also on Clarks Creek, since all 11 photos were found together printed on the same photographic paper.

The car in one of the photos would indicate that these photos may have been taken before 1924.

The set of 11 is comprised of Objects 2003.1.7-17.
