Members of Fire Department, ca. 1910. Left to right: Horses Brig and Eagle, Asst. Chief Frank Grabner, Chief Wm. H. Ellis, Henry Kastner, William Denham. This was probably 1910 when the fire department was organized as a paid professional fire department and quit relying on volunteers as first responders. Photo taken on south side of Baker County's new (third) courthouse buit in 1909.
