Members of Fire Department, ca. 1910. Left to right: Horses Brig and Eagle, Asst. Chief Frank Grabner, Chief Wm. H. Ellis, Henry Kastner, William Denham. This was probably 1910 when the fire department was organized as a paid professional fire department and quit relying on volunteers as first responders. Caption probably typed by O. H. P. McCord. Photo taken on south side of Baker County's new (third) courthouse buit in 1909.
