Closed Aug 20 for Annual Staff Training

All Baker County Library District branches will be closed Thursday, August 20, for annual staff training. Regular operating hours will resume Friday, August 21.
The annual training day gives employees an opportunity to strengthen their skills, explore emerging technologies, review best practices and learn new ways to serve the community.
“Our libraries are only as strong as the people who serve in them,” said Library Director Perry Stokes. “This training gives our staff dedicated time to learn, collaborate and return better prepared to help every member of our community connect with the resources and services they need.”
While library buildings are closed, patrons can continue to use the district’s digital resources. Libby offers thousands of e-books and e-audiobooks, while Comics Plus, Kanopy and Hoopla provide access to digital comics, movies, music and more.
The district apologizes for any inconvenience and thanks the community for its understanding and continued support.
